View out the backside of the house.. or why I love having so many BIG windows in my house.

This is actually past peak color. ..the color peaked last Monday about 1:00 p.m. I swear! If I had not been home for lunch I may have missed it. This pic shows how much the leaves have dropped since then.

We spent the afternoon tooling around Benzie county, one county SW of where we live. The Gazateer led us down newly discovered seasonal roads and we eventually found ourselves at the end of a road called Grace Road. Grace Rd. begins where Love Rd. ends. Honestly.. you can't make things like this up.
Grace Rd ends at Lake MI. Here is what was up with the crazy weather rushing/blowing in late fall today.

Beautiful! It made me miss Cordwood Pt. so much! I must remember how the wind on the straits blew like that with the trees whipping around most of the time. All that constant movement, day after day, eventually gets on your nerves. I do miss it, though.

Hi Rosemary,
I have joined the great big world of blogging and am enjoying reading your soulful posts. You have such a beautiful perspective on life and the world. I am always touched by how you witness the Spirit at work in everything—nature, relationships, even adversity. You remind us that all is well, all is always well.

You are a treasure.

Sending love,
Jan

p.s. I can't wait to drive down Grace Road sometime in the near future!
