Open Space

A little girl found God's spirit in the empty space behind the barn on her grandparents farm. This was the wholly open space that made her sense of self so tiny it was clear there was nothing within that was not also of that open nothingness outside of self.

Unescapable Presence,
whether ego leads or prayerful
clearing of space allows,

sensed in that always following
waiting room,
next to my going it alone,

or on the found path as
space is cleared and reserved
for your offered graced;

Nothingness full of Everything,
you are there, within it all.
How would it be otherwise,
Holy Everything?
